Refund policy
Full refunds are available for all non-alcohol purchases!
By law, we are not able to offer refunds on alcohol purchases.* If the mead is lost or damaged in shipment, we will replace it free of charge.
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept alcohol returns. If you'd like to return a non-alcohol item, please contact our customer service department to determine if we're able to accept your returned item.
While we are unable to offer refunds on alcohol purchases, we'll do everything in our power to make sure you love our mead!
If you aren't enjoying your purchase, please contact us and we'll find a way to make it right.
Additionally, many states limit the amount of alcohol we can ship to an individual in a month or year. If you accidentally surpass the volume for your state, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your money to keep everyone from getting in trouble.
*Under Vermont State Law, 3 V.S.A. § 801(b)(3) General Regulation 52: “No licensee shall display, distribute, or furnish any materials, signs, or postings of any kind that advertise alcoholic beverages free of charge, or anything that would lead any consumer to believe he or she can receive an alcoholic beverage for free.”
This has been interpreted by the Vermont Department of Liquor Control to include refunds for alcohol purchased, whether or not it has been consumed in its entirety. Federal Law, as interpreted in the 21st Amendment of the US Constitution, gives each state final determining power over “sales of alcohol within the state,” even if that alcohol is consumed elsewhere.
